When we're all competing for the same wants, we generate conflict. Resources are scarce, but virtues are not. And so that is the fourth key takeaway. There's a distinction between needs, wants and non scarce concepts such as virtues. Finally, qu take away number five, oftentimes we pursue s without ever knowing why we're pursuing them.
