The Innovation of the Empire State Building
The Empire State Building was an incredibly innovative construction project in terms of construction management. It's a massive construction, obviously. A 55 foot deep foundation to be poured. How innovative was the construction for this time? Do they have to develop new techniques for this? The fact that the technologies were already known, but they could come together at a new scale in this building.
