Tommy lee and his bandmates had come to visit the camins a few times before. It turns out the band's manager, doc mc gee, was one of lee's investors. They all got along famously. Tommy even eabout the first time that he'd met lee in motley crew's memoir, the dirt. In the memoir, lee then shuts his brief case, locks it, winks and tells them, if they can open the combination lock, tommy could have the rest.
