What Happens When Nurses Strike?

Labour has been divided over how to respond to the rail strikes. Some front benches have broken party rules and joined picket lines. But what happens when nurses strike in a few months time, for example? I imagine that there will be more public sympathy for those strikes than there are for the rail ones. Labour is caught in a bind as they don't want to look like hypocrites by supporting workers who perhaps have more public sympathy.
