Ali Vitali: Supply chain and manufacturing is probably a bigger issue in Michigan than anywhere else. He says 2020 was an absolute wake up call for us, particularly in terms of the semiconductor chip shortage. The Midwest is going to lead the way in terms of winning the future for manufacturing, he says. Leverage U.S.-based R&D but also localize it so that workers can buy goods at prices they can't purchase in real time.
