There is a peculiar tendency for good omens to fall, both in puddles, in bats and, on several occasions, into soupno. Terry used to carry around a pair of rubber gloves with him, these ae, these latex gloves, to avoid aamaion. When a fan presented him withone of these really gloriously swollen manky each page, he would, he would formally in front of them, put on his rubber gloves before signing - i thought was hilarious.
