The Space Shuttle Design
The space shuttle was three things rolled into one structure: a rocket, an Ohms pod and reaction control jets. IBM built four computers that controlled the whole vehicle through 26 data buses. One computer would fly the whole vehicle either going up or coming down. But we did have two major malfunctions during that program.
