Shadowing is when you, instead of just sitting there and listening to recorded materials, you try to say it as instantaneously as you can. You speak along with the voice. It's like parroting back on all people use o say, stop and stop saying what they hear. And so that has been something that's been enormously helpful in learning latin. But if you're doing with a a dead language, then to me, that's made all the difference. Once i started listening to myself and repeating after myself, then then it comes alive. Make it stop being a dead language in your own brainan it's your own the sound of your own voice in your own head
