The Politics of Apocalypse

There's this apocalyptic line of thinking that sort of runs through evangelical christianity. Many white americans believe in their lifetimes, and that when jesus returns, the world will be destroyed. White evangelicals have been the largest demographic group in the united states to deny the reality of anthropogenic climate change. Even if i'd just mentiond changes in weather, thereould be adhe met with silence.
