The College Board's Changes to the AP African American Studies Course

The college board which oversees AP coursework across the country is making changes to the curriculum. Florida Governor Ron DeSantis rejected a preliminary pilot version of the class saying it lacks educational value. The board released a statement yesterday pushing back saying they're committed to providing an unflinching encounter with African American history and culture. Students at Leven Darrow went to a school in Tulsa, Oklahoma that offers thecourse to see what is actually being taught.
