Is There a Salt Restriction?

High salt diets are associated with obesity, not just high blood pressure. They're associate with the development of diabetes. High salt looks like it works by producing frutos so if you drink water with salt, the danger of the salt is much less. There's actually clinical trials looking at the evidence that water may slow the progression of kidney disease. It might be working in part by blocking the effects of salt and so forth on the kidney. And we experimentally show that giving water can slow kidney disease progression. So drinking water turns out to be good. I believe it when i see it.
