Hoid's Tress of the Emerald Sea

Tress of the Emerald Sea is about how Hoid becomes an Elantrian. I think we know that he did at one point hold A Don Shard, but he is no longer Exactly. What we don't know is the long-term impacts and the remnants, maybe, of being a Don Shard. We think that Hoid's avoidance of violence is partially a remnant of his Don Shard holding. Yes, his inability to physically harm other things. And that is why so often he is forced and or encouraged to find creative solutions to problems.
