The Power of Roses

The rosary is not just a flowery prayer. We're talking about the mysteries of Christ's life, including the passion. Like roses are red, reminding us of the blood that Christ poured out. The slender stalks of a rose even recall the reeds that Christ could have been beaten with. I mean, so the Roses invoke all these images of the passion and I just like mentioning them.
