How to Train a Deep Fake Machine to Speak Like a Human

Before you can get a machine to talk like a human, you've got to get it to learn like a human. When my daughters were learning to speak, they didn't start with fully formed sentences. The first time we show a written word to a machine learning model, it has no idea how to convert those characters into a sound.
