The Case of Robert's Murder

The prosecution's case was not a slam dunk. There were lots of aspects that were uncertain, inconsistent, circumstantial or could be explained away. One example was the needle puncture marks found on robert's body hinting that he had been injected with a sedative. Robert's blood wasn't tested for all types paralytic drugs. It is not known if the shock wave device among dillon ward's adult toys was tested forensically. The lint trap from the dryer believed to have been used to dry the killer's clothes was not taken for analysis. Some theorize he was an in olved in the crime itself, but was an accomplice in covering it up
