The Problem With HIV Mutation
HIV is difficult for the body to find because it's archived itself in cells. The virus can mutate around immune response, although it does do that. HIV has evolved to thwart this by keeping parts of its outer coat or envelope hidden. Vaccines have been so hard to make - but a new technique could one day save lives.
