Diogenes and Alexander the Great

The story of Diogenes and the man who purchased him has many different tellings. He might have been set free immediately in the employed or slowly that aspect of the relationship diminished. It does appear that he was technically a slave during at least part of this time in Corinth, it does appear that Diogenes lived there in much the same way that he did in Athens. And he continued to share and live his philosophy of personal responsibility and minimalist living.
