You Know, I've Been Making Movies for Years and Years, Yeah?
I was really into the movie Miller's Crossing, the common brothers movie. And through that, I got into reading Dachshal Hammett. It made sense kind of the notion of this sort of violent, cruel, very socially stratified world. At least that was my experience kind of emotionally in high school. Going back to being a kid, just hanging out with your friends, making movies to me is still where it's about.
