The battle is important to vianon. But it's important to the globe because it taught people a lesson, that you could resist colonialism,. Even though it may have seemed that the odds were against you and that you didn't have all the implements of war. And unfortunately, the united states did not learn the lesson of this battle and decided to impose its colonial and perial control over viet nam. Ultimately, it will fail.
