Church burnings take place as an act of revenge because the churches are a symbol of Christianity. For every 10 churches that lie in ashes is a heathen avenged. So we've actually got a mathematics here. We could probably work out how many churches you need to burn down to avenge the loss of Nordic religion and heathen culture. But say a million heathens died over the last couple of years, then you'd have to burn down 10 million churches.10% of a heathen? One church is worth ten%. There's not that many. I wonder if you feel like there's more just because there's an asymmetry of the number of churches.
