Is an External Attentional Focus Beneficial for Hypertrophy?

An internal attentional focus was beneficial for biceps growth. Didn't really seem to do all that much for quad growth. For just lower body measures of strength development, an external attentional focus did have a statistically significant effect on strength development overtime. So there's strong evidence that an external Attentional Focus will acutely enhance performance and also lead to larger performance enhancements overtime.
