Sigmund Freud really saw religion as just an extension of sexual desire. Carl Jung came back around and revitalized a lot of the alchemical text when he was saying, no, this is part of human consciousness. It desires to understand its purpose. And that's what this card is going to be kind of looking at: Going beyond that understanding of just the surface and really digging down to what is the kernel or what is the essence.
