What's your take on this? He says there are a number of ways in which inflation will benefit quite large and influential sectors in society. Kleinbard: I think once inflation has done its tricks, say, paying down the debt, then it becomes unpopular with a broader and broader section of the population until at a certain point the political will is there to bring inflation to an end.
