Is This a Novel About Loss?
Fay is the main character, and we meet her early on, and she is suffering a great loss. Her the love of her life has died. She's 29, and it's really difficult for her to get back into the dating world. And an it turned out that the the grief was foundational to the romantic relationship that she absuted. You said you had this dream about her, that richness of what loss brings and how loss can maybe inform your life. Why? I have the dream. I was more about her and going to the island.
