i have nothing against alternative peer review, in post publication peer review systems. Small scale studies by advocates should also not be treated as compelling evidence. But you want randmis control tris that are pre registered and ideally replicated. And when you looked at that hierarchy of evidence, the evidence forevermactim was very weak and subsequently collapsed - those signs were clear from the ning. The higher quality studies were high lighting, not to most people, early on. So actually, because of the urgency of the covet is itis iscause, not entirely to the good,. but there has been a general rush to get things on line with cover research which often involved circumventing pepication
