There's about a half a dozen different kinds of infidelity. A lot of men who have affairs, they want hugging, they want affection, they want talking. So a certain amount of infidelity is an attempt to cope with the tedium of a relationship that works and is more or less satisfying. But it's missing a certain kind of emotional resonance or emotional validation or emotional connection.
