The Decree of Darius

Darius's reign was one that was always in question, always nipping at his heels. We see an order of cruel, unusual punishment that is established by the decree of Darius. These decrees are binding from these Persian kings and they are precedent setting in Persian law and Persian expectation. Obiously very cruel thing we see early on in the Persian era of Babylon according to the book of Daniel Boone.
