The Language of Rights Is Fundamental to Classical Liberalism
i think the language of rights is pretty fundamental to classical liberalism. And post modernism casts aspersion, not just on grand narratives, but also on rights. Rights are rooted in a metaphysical story about human nature that falls under suspicion. For me, it's its a superior way of kind of a organizing ncommunicating and co operating with people.
