Ajax, Ajax comes up time and time again in documents from the British government. The project was ostensibly for the purposes of combating al-Qaeda but turned out to be spying on Palestinian refugees. It's only shocking if you think that al Qaeda's interests and principles are out of sync with the goals of the British Empire, which they're not.
