The Experience of Agency and Free Will and Choice Is Yet Another Construction in the Case of Any Voluntary Action
Everything that we rence can be understood as a perception of one sort or another. The sense in which it really is an illusion is the spooky sense. Is idea that there's some soul force that is still unconstrained by material reality doesn't make any sense to me. And so we have to come up with another way of thinking that does justice to the phenomenology of free will, to the function of voluntary behaviour.
