The Purification Ritual in the Argonaut Tradition
There are quite a lot of interesting purification rituals in the Argonaut tradition. In Valerius, they make statues of the dead people and try to persuade the ghosts to go into them. Jason resurrects his Argonauts who threw these wooden figures that they gave him which then is a way of taking them out of their previous lives.
