The Luciferian Promethean Theosis
Voltaire reiterated nostic cosmology in the 1756 short story entitled Plato's dream. For many Enlightenment theoreticians Lucifer and his pagan counterpart, Prometheus acted as an illustrative analogy for a new humanity. While Kant did not explicitly venerate Lucifer he did advance an ethical doctrine that was consistent with the Luciferian Promethean anthropology. Throughout human history, several religions cultural and socio political movements have advanced variants of this Luciferian promethean motif.
