Was Nephi Called to Be a Leader in the Church Prior to Cutting Laban's Head?

I think ultimately it was hurtful and ableist in the way that the crisis was included in the story, regardless of that kind of note. It's a really common tactic to, I guess, add hominem someone is to call that into question. And what I would respond in situations like this is, it doesn't make any difference if I have a mental illness, it doesn’t change the history of the church. So that's kind of proud of my mental illnesses.
