The Barriers to Participation in the National Wastewater Surveillance System
The National Wastewater Surveillance System has over 1,400 sites across the US. But there are lots of localities that are still unrepresented in news. One in six Americans lives in an area not served by a municipal sewer system. Many communities have a very negative experience with surveillance generally.
