Is the Eddy a Good Beginner Microphone?

Some microphones that just came out that are absolutely god awful. Any kind of things that look to be too good to be true. Chances are they are, and you're going to be wasting your money. You can find samples on pretty much every microphone on the market. And then you won't really end up wasting any money.
