There's this decoupling of like the ad business was never great for most digital publishers before and it's never going to even get as good as it was when people thought it was bad. I don't know what the answer is, but advertising has become a scientific technical pursuit requiring now not just huge amounts of data, but tons of technical expertise and scale. Snap can't quite figure out why Snap can't keep up other than because they don't have the sophisticated technology to insert it in a way that works for people.
