The Red Blotch and the Soil Pits
A lot of the vines planted up here were in southern Oregon and actually a lot of California for that matter came out of nurseries before they really identified it. So between red blotch and the fact that, you know, I don't think the ground had been prepared properly, there were a lot of root issues. And like any, any, any weakened plant, you're going to have other diseases. We decided to be better to replant everything, which obviously is very expensive undertaking, but at the same time, you can really research things and then plant properly for your site.
