The Good Shepherd and the Others

In John 10, Jesus makes two statements: I am the door of the sheep and then I am the good shepherd. The religious leaders are mistreating this man whereas Jesus deals with him tenderly and beautifully. We know that all the way through the Bible a shepherd has been a metaphor for being a king. And something else I saw just recently that I love, in Ezekiel in the prophecy in chapter 34, God says I myself will do it.
