Introduction

The theme of unlearning reactivity is probably quite familiar. You may well remember having done the vicious flower exercise, which is an invitation to t to notice and identify and reflect on some of our kind of reactive paternts that come up when we feel stressed or when things are difficult. And so this theme of reactivity and react patterns may well bea familiar from these sessions. But my guess is that you're familiar with at least some of your patterns and how they can come in so quickly and so instinctively. In mindfulness presents us with a basic choice, react or respond, react automatically, habitually, or or respond with with awareness, with with presence of mind and heart.
