Episode #156 ... Emil Cioran part 2 - Failure and Suicide

Philosophize This!

CHAPTER

How to Avoid Failure or Not To?

Tiron: Who would you rather talk to at that party? The failure or the success? Tolstoy famously says in the opening line of anna kareninaqt, happy families are all alike. Every unhappy family is unhappy in its own way. People that are successful generally aim for the same things related to security. They all ultimately look like the same person. When you fail, and fail spectacularly, sometimes it can be like an art project that took on a mind of its own. It can be chaos. There are so many more ways to fail than to succeed. And to tiron, failures are just far more interesting and, not to mention, funny.
