Sears, the department store in the US, destroyed itself completely by being taken over by this iron round asshole who was big into objectivist fucking market stuff. So it's a very instructive example. Unlike Walmart and unlike the Soviet Union, the implementation of this organizational plan in Sears was truly ideologically motivated. It was not driven by any kind of pragmatism. It was driven purely by Austrian school ideal, right? Brain poison. And the implementation of their ideas against all evidence and accepted practice in this, in this truly kind of bio shock.
