The Antithesis of Vulgar Constructionism

Crenshaw argued that one's experience as determined by one's identity category, which is often determined in some sense by something like skin color. She was arguing on behalf of yeah, we are going to need some kind of some kind of standpoint to epistemology here because the evil conservatives oozed vulgar constructionism by being against it. Foucault typically was talking about cultures like 18th century France or something like that, not talking so much about racial categories. Whereas other people, including these activists or these women at CPAC, so conservatives of today, 30 years later, live in a much more postmodern world.
