Mara didn't bluff. She was succored by men who did. Bluffing is to poker what man splaining is to conversation, a pretence that you know more or have than you really do. For my own purposes here, i'm interested in a single little lesson she learned about over confidence. So if you're going to pick one extreme, you want to pick the aggressive extreme. Aggressive players tend to win more often because aggression often pays off.
