The Dangers of Outsourcing Research in China
Fauci: The idea was that we would be prepared if some bad country, a country that really doesn't like us, decides to unleash one of these horrible viruses on us. He says there's a certain amount of outsourcing, certain amount of just bad luck that happened there. Fauci: A former high-ranking person in the CDC told me in confidence that he thinks the next one will be a leak. It will happen again. But he fears the death count could be 5% to 50%.
