Are There Different Versions of the Koran?
i was raised catholic from grades one to 11, before becoming moslem in my late twenties. Thereis only one version of the cron accepted by any faction of islam. It is only really acceptable if it is in the original arabic. One group may interpret this as women must cover their hair and chests. And another may interpret it as being more important to cover your chest than your hair. So that makes sense. It's al about interpretation here. You can have a steadfast text, letter chapter and verse, you know, at will never change. But you're going to have interpretations of even that, without the pitfalls of actual translation into another language.
