The more concentrated your portfolio happens to be the more likely you are to see these more outsized returns. Some of our strategies this year that have focused a bit more heavily for example on alternative energy markets have seen really large returns. The philosophy was the more we can push into those different markets provided that we can trade them in a way that is fair and transparent and in line with expectations it's going to be beneficial, he says.
