Omar Love: I feel like people need to really pay attention to what is happening before they hit that tough point. He will sometimes use partials or pauses with power lifters to give them more time to focus on a specific portion of the range of motion. In weightlifting especially, you're more likely to be assessing a weak point more easily? Like if for example in weightlifting especially,. you're not getting the extension during the snatch or what have you, that's quite obvious usually. Whereas with powerlifting or sports where there might be less prominent, strength-oriented sports such as sumo and bodybuilding, it can be difficult to diagnose weaknesses at first.
