Is There a Parallel Between Entertainment and Technology?
I wonder if both entertainment and technology might be more likened to electromagnetic radiation, in that it is actually quite pervasive all around us. Radiation actually bathes us, the sun is bathing us in radiation as we go. And there's something that we draw from it, that actually is good, life giving. We can harness it in very focused technical fashion. But we can also be exposed to it in just unthoughtless unknown ways That actually, like radiation, can deform us, can create mutations in our very being.
