Five seconds is a physical description of action, isn't it? It's time. It's a time limit. Imagine the amount of time we would say if we were to take action within those first five seconds rather than anxiety and back and forth that takes up bandwidth in your brain. If you live this rule by Mel, suddenly your level of productivity, I would imagine, increases because you're no longer worried or distracted by the other idea or action that you've been considering. So just dive in and make it happen.
