Water-based lubrication works better with condoms because it's not going to deplete or like make the condom weaker. The oil base is the next section and there is an increased risk of breaking the condom and of it slipping off, so when you have water-based lube use it on top of the condom. You're wearing a condom. I cannot believe how many gay men are not using them. Yeah both straight and creepy ball.
